Upon reaching PSO grade work in the criminal justice department of the UK civil service , Vitas moved towards data and reports – facilitating MAPPA and MARAC with key data relating to general offending patterns as well as individual patterns of behaviour. Vitas subsequently shifted to the private sector and began independent research commissions on company histories and finances both in the UK and across Europe. After joining StiftungSchweiz as a researcher, Vitas ran the International Research Department there. Vitas now heads the phiLab research division, which is aimed at the thematic identification of key domestic and international organisations that are best suited to partnerships within Swiss philanthropic environment.

In Vitas’ spare time, he enjoys visiting museums and studying ancient history.
